Junior Account Manager – Connectivity Partnerships

Do you seek the challenge to manage your own account portfolio for trivago’s Connectivity partners (CRS, GDS, CM, PMS) in order to develop and nurture relationships whilst optimizing our account performance?
Our Channel Sales Team is looking for bold and determined personalities to join our team and help expand our Connectivity partnerships.
If you are a confident, assertive individual with outstanding sales and account management skills, who has knowledge of hotels’ electronic distribution platforms and channels, then we look forward to hearing from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Learn to identify and actively approach potential future Connectivity Providers.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of a partnership, from pitching and contracting to onboarding and account management.
  • Analyze and trouble shoot errors in the interface of both the provider and trivago, and coordinate technical issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide first line support to the Direct Sales Team, resolving provider issues and queries in a timely manner.
  • Carry out special projects and support assignments such as creation and production of sales materials, newsletter distribution and promotional activities.
  • Ensure proactive planning and delivery of webinar sessions for training and technical assistance of the providers.
  • Pull together regular project status and performance presentations for Cross-Functional reviews.

What you’ll definitely need:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convince others with an open and compassionate personality.
  • Relevant experience (6 months +) in the form of an internship or equivalent, preferably with an online company.
  • Thorough knowledge of hotels’ electronic distribution channels. CRS, PMS, CM, GDS, IBE doesn’t sound like a foreign language to you.
  • To speak English (our company language). Fluency in additional languages would be a plus (preferably German or French).
