Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

As a consequence of our rapid growth and our public offering on Nasdaq last year, we are continuously working on improving and upgrading our FP&A team. Our goal is to provide full transparency over financial performance, both in the past and for the future, and be a partner for top management to provide all the information necessary to guide strategic decisions. In addition, we are involved in key projects to develop the business further and provide transparency on the financial impact. We’re now looking for an experienced Project Manager to further strengthen our team.

What you’ll do:

  • Play a significant role in trivago’s strategic/tactical financial planning process.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure that our strategic objectives are met.
  • Analyze our financial performance and provide financial guidance to a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive key projects for the development of the company.
  • Challenge and streamline existing processes.
  • Perform a wide variety of other Corporate/Managerial Finance tasks.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial perspective to the position and help to shape the future of the FP&A function.

What you’ll definitely need:

  • A minimum 10 years’ working experience in Finance, Project Management and Strategy related positions (e.g. Corporate Finance, Consulting, Controlling, Reporting, Accounting or Auditing).
  • An outstanding academic track record with a Master’s degree/MBA or equivalent in a field related to this job profile.
  • Solid Project Management experience.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • A good general knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Expert communication skills that allow you to appease many stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Fluency in English (our company language).

What we’d love you to have:

  • Excellent M&A/ Banking skills.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a consulting role.
  • Some basic German language skills would be a plus but not mandatory.
