Seahawks, Patriots, Giants among Most Expensive NFL Teams to Watch Live this Year

SEPTEMBER 7, 2015 – Hotel search trivago.com partnered with Vivid Seats, the nation’s largest independent ticket marketplace for live events, to give NFL fans an overview of how much they could be spending this year to see their favorite team play live.

Side by side charts ranking teams separately by ticket prices and hotel rates are available for reference on page 2.

Key points

Seattle Seahawks fans have the highest combined ticket and hotel price, paying $238 more for a game day ticket than a Seattle hotel room

Packers (#8 total) have the 4th most expensive tickets but accommodation in Green Bay is one of the most affordable (#30)

Although both the Giants and Jets share the same New York metro home turf (#1 and #2 for accommodation), tickets to a Giants game ($235) cost almost $100 more than tickets to a Jets game ($137)

Fans will find reasonably priced accommodation in both Dallas and Houston ($135), but Cowboys tickets ($250) are more expensive compared to Texans games ($229)

Browns rank #24 for most expensive tickets, but accommodation in Cleveland (#9) breaks into the Top 10 most expensive hotel rates at $180

A Broncos (#5 total) ticket costs $334, almost double the cost of a hotel room ($175) in Denver

At $106, Titans have the cheapest tickets (#32) but accommodation in Nashville comes in at #15 with an average nightly rate of $155
