trivago Partners with TrustYou to Power Its Review Summaries

August 8, 2015

August 8, 2015trivago, the world’s largest hotel search with over 900,000 properties, has integrated TrustYou Meta-Reviews™ into its service. The merge brings travelers trusted review information in a succinct format, allowing users to quickly and easily find their ideal hotel.

trivago’s hotel search allows travelers to compare hotels from over 250 booking sites. Integrating TrustYou Meta-Reviews™ on trivago:

• Organizes and emphasizes most-searched property features including location, dining options, rooms, Wi-Fi and other amenities
• Gives travelers short descriptions based on travel reviews, such as “Guests say this hotel ’is ideal for families.’”
• Offers users a visual summary of verified ratings, available in more than 30 languages

“Travelers’ opinions are a top influencer for booking decisions. It is essential for the travel industry to display trusted reviews in a way that is quick and easy for travelers to understand, without having to read hundreds of reviews themselves. trivago integrating our Meta-Reviews™ API is an ideal example of how to do this,” says Benjamin Jost, CEO and  Co-Founder  of TrustYou.

“We want every user on trivago to be able to search and find the hotel that fits best into their ideal travel experience. By bringing TrustYou reviews onboard, we are not only improving the search experience, but also helping travelers decipher what was once a complex amount of information in seconds,” says trivago Spokesperson, Sydney Burdick.

About TrustYou
TrustYou’s Mission is to positively influence travelers’ decisions. Reviews and     user-generated content rank #1 in influencing travelers’ hotel selections and industry reputations. Digesting all of  these opinions, however, is beyond any one person’s capacity. Each day things become more complicated  because   millions  of  new  opinions  in  thousands  of  formats  and  dozens  of  languages       enter  the  fray.  TrustYou  searches,  analyzes  and  distills  hundreds  of  millions  of  opinions  scattered     across this vast, fragmented market. Our  products  are  extensively  used  by  suppliers  – hotels,  accommodations, restaurants – to provide travelers with better services and enhanced  offerings  by  monitoring, surveying and acting upon all worldwide guest feedback. Travel intermediaries – OTAs, meta-search,  destination  marketers  – use TrustYou’s Meta-Reviews™ to help travelers  purchase    wisely. TrustYou’s Meta-Reviews™ are based solely on verified travel reviews. They do not include data   from   TripAdvisor.   For   more   information,   visit www.trustyou.com.
