Product Owner – Internal Tools

As the Product Owner in our Tech Solutions Team youll be responsible for the backlog prioritisation and overall direction of trivagos internal software portfolio.  This high visibility role will have you working on diverse tasks with a direct business impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Backlog management and prioritisation for a team of 6 engineers.
  • Deliver on business specifications for internal software products and integrations.
  • Requirements gathering for the team.
  • Be the main point of contact for our stakeholders and manage their expectations accordingly.
  • Create user stories, help designing test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-team collaboration with other departments of the company.

What you’ll definitely need:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Product Owner.
  • Experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven understanding of prioritisation techniques (such as cost of delay, Kano etc.).
  • Good command of methodologies for requirements engineering (such as user story mapping, Rapid Prototyping etc.).
  • Comfortable navigating in Jira and Confluence.
  • Structured approach to knowledge sharing and documentation.

What we’d love you to have:

  • A strong understanding of ERP systems will be highly regarded.
  • Good understanding of how APIs work.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL to create reports or insights.
  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent experience.
