Senior Product Marketing Manager

Our Marketing team is looking for a seasoned, passionate Product Marketing Manager to establish and build out trivago’s Product Marketing function. The ideal candidate will have a deep empathy for travelers, the ability to deliver a vision and inspire internal and external partners, the mastery of global go-to-market strategy and ability to drive business goals. 

You’ll work hand in hand with a cross-functional team including Product Managers, Research, Strategy and Planning and Brand Marketing. As Senior Product Marketing Manager you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the future direction and growth of trivago’s travel products in a competitive industry and build narrative, positioning and GTM capabilities in the marketing team. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop clear and compelling product narratives and positioning by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces.
  • Define the go to market strategy to enable successful product launches and growth campaigns by working cross functionally with Brand Marketing, Product Management, UX, PR, Support, and Strategy & Planning.
  • Create strategies to drive product success through all stages of the customer funnel from awareness, adoption, through to advocacy
  • Design and run A/B tests to develop user messaging strategies and quantitatively test hypotheses pertaining to acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Own product launches and release communication plans for both existing customers and new prospects, producing collateral across a variety of mediums that speaks to the core value of our products at all stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Identify KPIs, set targets, and analyse the results of product launches and growth efforts against those targets.

What you’ll definitely need:

  • 5+ years experience in product marketing and previous experience launching go-to-market strategies. 
  • Solid experience in building product propositions, developing product positioning and messaging. 
  • A strategic mindset to be able to plan and structure an approach to explore future engagement strategies integrating product and marketing.
  • The ability to get support and buy-in from diverse teams across the organisation and implement in a test and learn environment.

What we’d love you to have:

  • Experience working in an e-commerce, consumer tech environment.
  • Analytical capability and experience in A/B testing.
  • Multi-national, pan-regional experience.
