Product Lead – Display Ads

We’re looking for a Product Lead to drive our display ads team! This team is focused on enabling travel and non-travel advertisers to reach new users and re-engage existing ones by accessing new trivago ad products.

As the lead of a cross-functional agile team of product managers, you’ll be the entrepreneurial mind driving the team in the right direction and supporting them where needed in achieving the goals that you set out. You’ll also have access to dedicated software engineers, ad ops managers, data analysts and QA in order to deliver a better product every day.

As one of the product leads, you’ll also become part of our B2B Ventures product leadership group, driving strategic decisions and playing an integral role in the definition of our overall B2B products and services strategy. 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop the product vision and strategy for the Display Ads product area.
  • Develop and lead the core display ads team, caring for the retention of talents and recruiting along with developing a culture around product management and business development.
  • Translate vision and priorities into initiatives together with your team.
  • Ensure day-to-day product delivery, being accountable for progress in business, customer and user KPIs.
  • Create value through being responsible for the teams delivery model, making key decisions on team processes, product feature selection and managing the velocity of teams output.
  • Inspire and empower your team to achieve your team’s vision and goals as well as support on key projects.

What we’re looking for:

  • A pragmatic, value-oriented mindset to drive for results in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as high levels of emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • 5+ years relevant experience, with at least 2 years experience in leading product/tech teams, preferably in AdTech. 
  • Strong knowledge of modern Product Management practices and agile frameworks.
  • Cognitive and structural thinking, ability to zoom-in and out in projects to challenge solutions on multiple levels.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience in advanced A/B testing.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience with Display Advertising or relevant experience in the industry.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager or similar tools.
