HR Manager – German Speaker

In this role, you are part of our Talents & Culture team, supporting in all HR topics, across the whole life cycle of a trivago talent. What you’ll do:

  • Be the point of contact for our talents, answering on relevant HR topics (e.g. vacation, maternity & parental leave, sabbatical, work & residence permits)
  • Create HR related documents & employment contracts
  • Support our talents during Visa and Work Permit processes, helping them to join our team in Düsseldorf
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner team on a daily basis
  • Maintenance of digital HR/ personnel files and master data maintenance in relevant HR management systems (Workday)
  • Participate in the continuous optimization of our administrative HR processes
  • In addition, projects bring additional variety to your everyday work

What you’ll definitely need:

  • Apprenticeship (Bürokaufmann, Industriekaufmann or equivalent) or university degree in the field of HR
  • Ideally, you have already gained work experience in HR processing or administration (as HR Manager or HR Administrator)
  • As a result, you have solid labour law skills (with a focus on Germany)
  • Experience in dealing with HR systems (Workday desirable)
  • Good communication skills, assertiveness as well as a high degree of service orientation and self-motivation are among your strengths
  • Ability to work in a team & a hawk-eye for detail
  • Very independent way of working and a high sense of responsibility
  • Hands-on mentality, curiosity to learn and willingness to directly jump into topics
  • Fluency in both German and English (our company language)
